Though I was born in the Netherlands (1974) and grew up there, Botswana became my new home not long after I first arrived there in 1999. My instant love for the African bush with its true pristine wildlife areas was one of my main drives for this decision. Yet, only the last few years I have become serious about my photography and realize that Africa indeed is a heaven for nature & wildlife photographers.

The thrill of selling my first pictures is now driving me to grow in photography in the hope of realizing my dream of being a full time professional one day.

The main challenge I see in photography is the quest for being different and finding new ways to make images that stick out amongst the rest. Something which is far from easy, but what keeps me focused and motivated.
